"Hullo, is that Richard Harwood? 
I would like you to create a sculpture for me."

Imagine my surprise, when I discovered I was talking to Uri Geller!  What a pleasure too.

Initially, I wasn’t quite sure where start with the design.  However, discussions with Uri proved productive as we both have a strong element of the spiritual in our characters.

Contemporary ideal developed into an ancient obelisk style.

We managed to tap into the mystical power of the pyramid shape and incorporated a wonderful pair of glass hands that Uri had encased, a mould of his healing hands set in glass.

Visiting Uri's garden, friends and children in parties from the local school are invited to place their hands in the mould, to absorb the energy source within the sculpture.

An energy whose source comes from the universe into this healing garden.

A very interesting commission, working with a fascinating man, whose powers are well known. 

A thoroughly enjoyable experience.
