The finished garden installed in Chelsea

2 months earlier the spiral staircase was mapped out in metalic jigsaw form

A steel girder structure to support the path was created

In the calm of the Cornish countryside the steel supports and the spiral staircase were prepared together

Each part was carefully labelled to allow correct reconstruction in Chelsea

Great care is taken to protect each part of the structure for transport

The levelled ground ready for a rapid transformation into a stunning contoured garden

First the steel structure is bolted together and the upright tubing placed according to the plans developed at the workshop in Cornwall

then the jigsaw spiral staircase is positioned on the upright poles

The structure of the garden is quickly created allowing greater time for the garden specialists to create their finished work of art in relative calm in comparison to their neighbours

and because the underlyiing structure is bolted together, it is possible to reconstruct the garden at a second (permanent) location after the Chelsea Flower Show
